2. poster child
象徴的な存在（必ずしも人をさすのではない）

ITの象徴的な存在
poster boy
象徴的な男性または男の子
poster girl
象徴的な女性または女の子
という表現もあります。
3. new kid on the block
新入り、新顔
子供のことを
口語で
kidと言うので
ここに入れました。
That’s the new kid on the block.
あれが新しく入ってきた人だよ（新しく引っ越してきた人だよ）。
